Public University Lectures

The first Public University Lecture under the Eco-delivery Project will be given by Karl-Göran Mäler on the 23rd of May at the University of Stirling. He is Professor Emeritus and former director of the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics in Sweden. He will be speaking on the following two topics:

  • Accounting for ecosystem services
  • Non-convex ecosystem dynamics and accounting for resilience of an ecosystem

The lecture will be held in Room 2B86 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (23rd of May, 2011) at the University of Stirling.

Annual EIB Meetings

The 4th Annual Meeting of the EIB-Universities Research Action was held in Luxembourg on the 2nd and 3rd of February, 2011. Frans de Vries and Ciaran Ellis attended the meetings and discussed issues related to the project.
